Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19—including a booster dose, if eligible—is required for everyone attending Long Beach Opera performances and events. This policy also applies to Long Beach Opera staff, artists, and crew.
If guests cannot attend LBO performances or events because they do not meet the vaccine requirements, they may donate their tickets back to LBO, have a credit applied to their account for a future performance when they meet the vaccine requirements, or receive a refund for their ticket. This must be requested more than one week prior to the performance by contacting the LBO Box Office via email at [email protected] or via phone at (562) 470-7464.
All guests attending Long Beach Opera performances and events are strongly encouraged to wear masks indoors to help keep the artists, staff, and our fellow patrons safe. Please make sure the mask is worn over the nose and mouth and is not made with a loosely-woven fabric. LBO recommends using an N95 or KN95 mask. Masks will be provided to guests who do not have one or whose mask doesn’t meet proper mask standards.

All guests attending Long Beach Opera performances and events will be asked to present both:
a CDC-issued COVID-19 vaccination record card, a legible picture of their vaccination card, or an official digital vaccination record
a valid photo identification such as a driver’s license or state-issued I.D.
(California residents may request a digital vaccination record at myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov.)
Please present your vaccination record and valid I.D. to the patron services staff upon arrival. We kindly ask that you have your items ready to present to the staff when you arrive so that we can ensure a quick entry process for all guests. Once verified, each guest will be given one sticker to display on their clothing or ticket to show other staff that they are verified for entry.
Exposure & Symptoms
If you are feeling sick or have COVID-19 symptoms, have been in contact with someone known to have been infected with COVID-19 within the last 10 days, or if you are subject to an isolation order, please stay home. LBO will either refund your ticket or apply a credit to your account for a future performance.
