Aquarium of The Pacific

This haunting opera is an atmospheric combination of a detective mystery and a ghost story about the disappearance of three lighthouse keepers, mixing courtroom testimony and fantastical flashbacks. Opening performances of the Aquarium’s new cutting-edge, high-definition technology space with a breathtaking 32-foot-tall, 180-degree arc projection wall.

Sunnyside Cemetery

Drawing on contemporary accounts, period photographs, dime novels, this visionary opera traces the legendary outlaw's passage across the blasted landscape of 1880 New Mexico and the collective unconscious of his country.

This opera will be presented outdoors at the historic Sunnyside Cemetery. There are three seating options: A+(Reserved seating with provided auditorium chairs) A/B (General Admission seating with provided camping chairs), C/D (General Admission seating with patron provided chairs or blankets).

Museum of Latin American Art

Back by popular demand.
"I never paint dreams or nightmares, I paint my own reality." Famed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo lived as she painted — with pain and passion in bold, vibrant colors. Frida sings as she lived — against the tide from the very first note.

Presented under the stars in the Sculpture Garden at MoLAA. Patrons will be invited to view a corresponding art exhibit prior to the performance included in the ticket price.

Why am I being charged a fee? The $10 flat fee on tickets covers a portion of the cost of the credit card processing fees, the ticket servicing fees, and the box office processing fees associated with the purchase of this ticket. Ticketing prices only cover a portion of the costs associated with producing opera, so thank you for supporting groundbreaking art with the purchase of your subscription or tickets!

LBO is following all city, county and state recommendations and regulations closely, and constantly adapting our safety protocols to keep our patrons, artists and staff safe. For special events occurring in 2021 we are requiring a valid proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 for all entrants. We will continue to evaluate our policies as the city and state update their recommendations, however, we expect the mandatory vaccine requirement will remain in place for our 2022 season. Indoor mask wearing is also currently a requirement for all current events regardless of vaccination status.
