Long Beach Opera Box Office FAQS

  • All sales are final; no refunds.

    Tickets can be transferred to others up to 24 hours before the show. Transfer requests should include the name and email of the recipient.

    Tickets can be exchanged for another performance of the same production anytime 48 hours prior to the earlier performance (while supplies last).

    Cancellation, Exchange, and Transfer requests must be sent to boxoffice@longbeachopera.org.

  • All performances at LBO are site-specific. Please review the specific performance page to find out how to get to your performance location.

    Please note: If you are attending a performance, please plan to arrive at the performance venue, and not the LBO Offices located on Pine Ave.

  • Accessible seats are marked in our seating charts. If you have any questions or requests, please contact the box office and we will be happy to accommodate you.

  • You can view your tickets anytime by visiting my.longbeachopera.org and logging in to your account. If you used Guest Checkout, your tickets will not appear. However, you will still be sent your tickets via email automatically.

    All tickets will be sent to ticket holders via email one week before the performance. A follow up email will be sent the day before your performance.

    On occasion, these emails may go into spam folders. Our team is happy to provide the tickets to you if you contact our box office.

  • Yes, all tickets are transferrable to another guest. This applies to single tickets and subscriptions up to 24 hours prior to performance.

    You may also choose to donate your tickets, and LBO staff will transfer your tickets to someone on our waiting list.

  • LBO is happy to offer discounts to students—both in K-12 and higher education—for all performances. Students should contact the box office to inquire about availability.

    Patrons can also receive a discount on tickets by purchasing a Ticket Package.

  • Absolutely! Call our Box Office at (562) 470-7464, open from 10 AM – 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Whether you're a seasoned opera enthusiast or attending for the first time, we look forward to serving you. If we're assisting another patron, we'll get back to you promptly.

  • Fear not! All ticket purchases are securely stored in our system. Access your tickets in your Long Beach Opera account. If you have any questions, please contact our Box Office.

  • When you get to the venue, simply pull up the QR code and show it to our check-in staff!

    If you have multiple tickets in an order, you’ll get a series of QR codes. Please present each one to our staff.

    You can also print out your tickets, just make sure the QR code is complete and visible.

  • All sales are final; no refunds.

    If you have tickets you know you won’t use, we encourage you to invite a friend. You can also donate your ticket(s), and we’ll send them to a local student or someone on our waiting list.

UpStage User Terms of Service

  • We may, without prior notice, amend, modify, or stop providing the Services, to you or to Patrons generally; or create usage limits for the Services, at any time in our sole discretion. The Services are provided “as is,” and you acknowledge and agree that you will not rely on any existing features of the Services being available in the future, nor any proposed updates becoming available.

  • You may use the Services only if you can form a binding contract, and only in compliance with this Agreement and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations. You must be at least 16 years old or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is older, to use or access the Services. If you are under 16 years old, you may not use or access the Services. Any use or access to the Services by anyone under 16 is strictly prohibited and in violation of this Agreement. The Services may not be available to any Patrons previously removed from the Services.

  • The Services are intended only for the United States and Canada and may not be appropriate or available for use in some jurisdictions. Any use of the Service is at your own risk, and you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in using the Services. We may limit the Services’ availability at any time, in whole or in part, to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction that we choose, in our sole and absolute discretion.

  • This Agreement may be changed or modified at any time. If any modification is unacceptable to you, you shall cease using the Services. If you do not cease using the Services, you will be conclusively deemed to have accepted the change.

  • We may suspend or terminate your use of the Services at any time if, in our sole discretion, your use of the Services is in violation of this Agreement, or if we otherwise reasonably believe that your use of the Services could cause damage to the Services, the rights of other patrons, or any other reason, even if not expressly set forth in this Agreement. Our right to suspend and/or terminate your account does not limit our right or ability to seek any other remedy available to us through this Agreement or at law, including, without limitation seeking monetary damages and/or injunctive relief.

  • You understand that the technical processing and operation of the Services may involve (i) transmissions over various networks, and (ii) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connection networks or devices. We will maintain commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed for the protection, confidentiality, and integrity of your data. You recognize and agree that transmitting content online involves risks of unauthorized disclosure or exposure and that, in accessing and using the Services, you assume such risks. We offer no representation, warranty, or guarantee that your data will not be exposed or disclosed through errors or the actions or inactions, including negligence, of third parties.

  • You agree that you will use the Services and any related products only for lawful purposes and will comply at all times with all applicable laws, including without limitation, all intellectual property, rights of publicity, privacy and data security laws and will not take any action that harms or violates the rights of any person or entity.

  • Without limitation, in using the Services, you agree to not:

    1. Use an automated ticket purchasing technology to search for, reserve, or purchase tickets through the Services;

    2. Reproduce or scan tickets in a format or medium outside the Services;

    3. Decipher, decrypt, modify, or reverse engineer any tickets or underlying algorithms or barcodes used on or in conjunction with the Services;

    4. Order, or attempt to order, a number of tickets for an Event that exceeds the stated limit for that Event;

    5. Reproduce, duplicate, copy, create derivative works of, sell, resell or exploit for commercial purposes any portion of the Services, use of the Services, or access to the Services without Our express written consent;

    6. Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;

    7. Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, watermark or attribution or proprietary rights notices contained on the Services;

    8. Use any content for distribution electronically that competes with the Services (i.e. making tickets available for others to purchase, whether for the same price, at a discount, or at a premium);

    9. Upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Services, third party products and services, or the Internet;

    10. Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Services, or otherwise attempt to derive any source code or underlying algorithms of any part of the Services;

    11. Disrupt or interfere with the security of, or otherwise abuse, the Services, system resources, accounts, servers, or networks connected to or accessible through the Services or affiliated or linked websites;

    12. Use any computer program, bot, robot, spider, offline reader, or other manual or automatic device that circumvents the security, navigation, or presentation of the Services;

    13. Access, tamper with or use non-public areas of the Services;

    14. Use the Services to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others;

    15. Violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances;

    16. Engage in spamming or phishing;

    17. Disrupt or interfere with any other patron's enjoyment of the Services or affiliated or linked websites; or

    18. Frame or link to the Services except as permitted in writing.
