Jakob Boers was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington where he played as a percussionist for nine years with the Tacoma Youth Symphony, as well as a drummer for community theatre productions and church bands. He has also sung with the Symphony Tacoma Voices on tour in Europe and with the University Choir at the Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University, Long Beach. Jakob is excited to be working with Long Beach Opera!
