Yekaterina lynch Bio
Yekaterina Lynch is an emerging Los Angeles-based stage director whose work spans opera, new music, and interdisciplinary performance. With a dual foundation as an opera singer and professional writer, Yekaterina approaches direction from a place of rigorous musicianship and collaborative storytelling. Having completed her degrees in Opera Performance and Literature at UCLA, Yekaterina is currently the resident assistant director and program coordinator for Opera UCLA, as well as a creative assistant with Long Beach Opera. Most recently, she served as associate director for Handel’s Rodrigo, and assisted Gluck’s Iphigénie en Tauride at Opera UCLA. This July, she was assistant director on Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra’s touring production, Handel’s Tolomeo, in collaboration with Long Beach Opera.
